Explanations
- No public transportation. Please take a car. (Takes 10' from Hahoe Folk Village.)
It is the last part of Taebaek Mountain Range and one of the tourism highlights of Hahoe Folk Village, where you can watch down the whole village on the peak. The name Buyongdae came from the ancient history of China, and Buyong means lotus. In the beginning, it was named Bukae, meaning a hill to the north of Hahoe. Down from it, there are Okyeonjeongsa, Gyeomamjeongsa, and Hwacheonseowon at the places where Nakdonggang River is flowing around.
